Housos; The Lockdown for 7Mate

Remember that time when Craze Co’s b-boys broke it down, or the time when Junior Franky stole his first police car in the second season of Housos… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RIOk2CjBFRw&t=9s

Crisis or no crisis, the show must go on. Partnering with 7Mate, comedy producer Paul Fenech returns to our screens in October 2020 with Housos vs The Lockdown.

Collaborating in compliance with coronavirus restrictions, we did our part to help bring an Australian comedic icons vision to life (with a few extra PPE precautions).

Film-making during the best of times can be challenging enough, but during COVID times, it’s a whole other ball game. In efforts to keep crew minimal, our set builders managed to nab some screen time as well!

“Being on set during the COVID epidemic was really interesting, the sets were a lot tighter than I am used to but the cast and crew did a great job of implementing precautionary measures to keep everyone safe while still not letting the protective measures hinder the production”. Alec said

The new season takes a comical look at the trials and tribulations faced during COVID and features roles from local talent, such as Tayla Novelli, as well as the co’s hyper-realistic cannabis props.

The Fat Pizza franchise is known for their work with local artists, having featured members of Craze Co, graffiti writers such as Doel and DGKS Crew and cameos from Aussie hip hop artists such as Kerser and Fortay.

Tune in on Channel 7 Mate, October 26!
